The attorney retained to represent Bear Hollow Village owners, Darren K. Nelson, from the Salt Lake City law firm Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless, has advised Howie that the Settlement Agreement with CraCar and the title companies has been finalized. Releases of the liens or lis pendens filed by CraCar or its subcontractors on Bear Hollow units have had releases recorded and they are removed from our properties. All owners that were part of this Settlement will receive a letter directly from Darren K. Nelson shortly to give you official notice of the Settlement. This matter is now closed, finally !
There remains another lien issue that is impacting 12 individual units / owners in Bear Hollow Village, the parcel of land that is now the site of the Clubhouse and the parcel of land that is now the commercial office building, that was filed by the company AJC Architects, who did work for the original developer, now bankrupt. Darren K. Nelson is also representing these owners to reach a negotiated Settlement in this matter also.
The specific units involved in the AJC Architects matter are as follows: T41 -T42 -T43 - T53 - T54 -T55 - T102 - T103 - T104 - T105 - T106 - T107 Owners will be notified of developments in this matter as necessary.
